I used to have demons in my room at night
Yup, it's been a while. I think that these past few months really have just zipped on by. There are only two weeks left in 2004. Wow.
Going back to my real reason for making this blog--putting things here that would irritate my friends to no end if I babble on about them--I want to start this off by saying that boys suck.
Yes, friends, I actually went out with one who seemed to have potential. We could talk for hours on the phone and in person. Well, no word since last Wednesday. Not a peep. He has been online a few times. You'd think he could pop over a couple lines in an email saying "Yeah, I had fun too. Maybe again sometime." How long did that take for me to type? Less than 10 seconds. Is it really that difficult? Or, even "Hey, It's not gonna work. Bye." That only took 6 seconds. What the hell? Suckiest part is I really had hope for this one.
I did call Colin on his birthday last week to wish him a happy happy. It was the first time I spoke to him since October (again, he could have called...). He sounded thrilled that I called at all and even more thrilled (and a bit chagrined) that I called to wish him a happy birthday. He only mentioned it once at Pennsic and I remembered it. Amazing, huh? He couldn't even remember to call me to say "My flight plans for this week-end didn't work out." I swear, it really isn't that hard.
I got an email from the Otter last week. Only hear from him once every week or so. And then, only in response to emails from me. We may be getting together on NYE...we'll find out, eh?
All it takes is a little effort. The tiniest amount, folks. Oh well.
